Always on the go ... you can probably tell from my pictures that I like the mountains! I do like to spend time in colorado, hiking or snowboarding. I enjoy staying active since I prefer to live life outside versus in a gym. I'm usually game for a new adventure. I am looking for someone who would like to share some of my interests, introduce me to new ones, and explore with me. For casual times, I enjoy hanging out with good friends, family, ball games, going out to eat, casual bars, laughter, thunderstorms, exploring parks, good conversation, jeans and dress-up, listening to music, and finding new apps. We are busy people, raising kids, working out, earning a living, and searching. What's next? It takes time to build a relationship and the magic we all expect to experience through meeting someone on-line is no different . . . one day at a time!!
I am energetic, energizing, independent, and active. I have a bit of an edge and a mind that never stops moving and wondering. I am looking for a friend/partner who can handle a little craziness and fun along with the intensity that's required of a single working mom. I am ready to try more of these Florida activities (besides hanging out at the beach, Peanut Island, snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding) and want to learn to kite surf or something to trigger the adrenaline. Who I am Looking For: I just read a profile in which was written something to the effect of "If you are lying about your height, age or marital status, then this is not the right way to start a relationship and we will not be a good match". While I was laughing at the reality of this sentiment regarding the profiles on match, I realized this thought represents my sentiments exactly. Normally I do not focus on the negative as I believe in expending energy in a positive way on how I want to live my life and the types of people I want in my life. But florida is a whole new expedience for a girl from the Midwest who believes people are inherently good and will do the right thing and represent themselves accurately. I am learning maybe a more direct approach would be more effective here. Core values like honesty, integrity and trust go a long way with me and should be evidenced in action, not words in a profile, email, text or otherwise. A person's true self will always rise to the surface. My basic "about my date" specifications are included in my profile. I am not going to prescribe my exact match further because he is a combination of many attributes and its all about the chemistry we have together.
I am comfortable with who I am and where I am with my life. While I do not need someone to "save" me, I am looking for a man who makes me feel safe and protected knowing he 'has my back'. I count my blessings daily. While I would love to find that special someone with whom I can share and enjoy life's experiences (and vice versa), I would prefer to find the right guy than try to force a relationship with someone when “its” just not "there". So if you get a "no thanks" from me, please accept this as my way of saying I truly appreciate your putting yourself out there but there was something that I saw that led me to believe it wasn't right and I wish you the best.
