Hi thurr!:) What I'm looking for is pretty simple: Someone who is kind and likes to laugh- someone who can make me laugh and someone who will laugh at my (sometimes admittedly nerdy and lame) jokes. A guy who is just a little excited to see me when I walk in the room, and who could possibly miss me just a little when I'm not around. A food lover and a dog lover- someone who will play with my dog while I make them an awesome meal. After rereading all of that out loud I guess maybe that is a lot to ask for, but that's my asking price and there you have it.
I love animals, I do brake for the little guys... and the big ones too. I'm a huge pet adoption advocate and I volunteer at animal shelters pretty frequently. I really enjoy seeing live music. All kinds! (and by all kinds I mean anything with a melody) And I love to sing! Mostly in the shower. And I enjoy cooking, especially desserts. If you don't like apple pie, then you ain't 'merican and you geet off ma page!
I think maybe I'm too laid back sometimes. In other words, I'm not going to be too demanding when trying to decide on where to go out to eat or what movie to see, so if you need someone to always take control, I might not be that special lady for you. I enjoy drinking! Not everyday or in the morning or anything, lol, but when I am having dinner at a new restaurant or I've had a particularly rough week, you shall find me with a glass of wine in hand. When I'm stressed, I tend to clean- so if my condo is in a little bit of disarray, then it's been a good week!
I know it sounds cliche, but I really do LOVE to travel. And when I can't find someone who wants to tag along, then I'll make the journey by myself. Life is just too short to not attempt to see all that you can or meet as many different people as possible. Or eat crazy ass food in Panama. Ha.
I went a year and a half without cable (due to a passionate hate and personal vendetta against Charter and Comcast) and I'm just now catching up on the TV scene with Hulu and Netflix. In an effort to share more about myself, I will admit addiction to the following shows: Breaking Bad, The League, Game of Thrones, Always Sunny, Downton Abbey (I like to talk in a British accent after watching this one), Workaholics, and my new favorite, The Walking Dead- does anyone else find themselves looking for sharp, household weapons after watching this show? Update: I wish Andrea would get eaten already. More recent update: Now I feel bad about the first update...
I love my job, I'm awesome at what I do, and I try not to bring it home with me. I'm a great listener and I like to flirt with the person I'm dating, and not just in the beginning. I prefer my relationships like I prefer my food: spicy:)
