It's not hard to meet people in South FL - it's a very social place. However, I think it can be a bit shallow sometimes at the bar scene etc. though going out is fun. I'd like to meet a cool, smart, educated, fun guy that could share interest in all things aquatic (boating, surfing, fishing, scuba, swimming etc) and is up for a good intellectual / philosophical conversation as well as humor and just goofing around. I'm passionate and serious, especially about my career, but I'm at the same time very light hearted and very mellow in general.
Also central to my life is my job as a teacher of English language to immigrants and refugees - it fulfills me and my desire to help people and make a difference in this world in whatever small ways I can.
Travel is my thing too. I was raised in the South and then lived abroad til a few years ago. I've visited 30 countries, and worked as a teacher in various places (England, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica) and I LOVE dropping in on new places and experiencing new cultures. !Tambien me encanta hablar Espanol y la cultura latina!
