Hi, my name is Ted. And honestly, I am not crazy about these “about me” sections, but I guess you have to start somewhere!! I am born and raised in Long Beach. I am extremely lucky for the family, friends, and experiences I have had in my life so far. I treat others the way I want to be treated…so naturally there’s a lot of fun involved, laughing, poking fun, and a lot of sarcasm (my Sicilian side) that goes around between family and friends.
I've worked in the Action Spors industry for over 6 years now and have a great time with it. I spend my spare time playing on a few soccer teams throughout the week with my friends. I discovered snowboarding 2 years ago and have been trying to go whenever I can. I want to travel to CO and some other places to check out different mountains to go boarding now! I like to go hiking and explore new cities and just wander around. I’ve been lucky enough to drive across the US a few times (road trips are AWESOME) and travel to other countries with my family or friends, which has been some of the best and most fun experiences I could have had. My motto is, have bag…will travel.
I've been described as really easy going, helpful, determined, funny/sarcastic/goofy (in a good way), and trustful. I enjoy making people smile and laugh. I think that's why I get along well with my family and friends so easily. We always have fun and try to make each other laugh as much as possible. I try to surround myself with good people who I can inspire and who can inspire me as well.
I earned a degree in Liberal Studies with the intention of becoming an elementary school teacher. I even worked with Pre-K/K Special Ed (Orthopedic) students for 3 years while I was in college and it was one of the best experiences/jobs I've ever had. I still try to go back to the school to visit the staff when I can since I left in 2005. Somehow, I ended up in I.T. and am still trying to figure out how that happened!
I love movies, music, road trips, beaches, bonfires, concerts, bowling, shooting pool, happy hours, shows and whatever else I can get into.
It’d be great to find someone who is active (soccer, hiking, snowboarding, boating, etc) and shares some of these interests, yet still enjoys some downtime, has a sense of humor (goofy/dorky/maybe even nerdy) with family and friends while being able to have a good laugh at themselves.
