Hmmm....what would people say about me? I hope they would say something like, "She's smart and funny, a little crazy but grounded, loves to be silly and have fun but can also go really deep. She's attractive and doesn't try too hard, knows how to dress to the 9's but prefers to rock the flip-flops, cut offs and jeans. She's honest, caring and very much committed to her family and friends, and overall has a very easy going attitude".
I'm very content with my life and NOT looking for a man to complete me or make me happy, but I do want a man to love and be loved by and to make our lives even better! I'm self sufficient, financially and otherwise, and been divorced for 5 years now. While I've had some pretty nice interest along the way, I haven't found true love that I know exists, and I refuse to settle. I'm looking for a man who's honest, with good character, morals and values, strong, confident and sexy and loves him self and others. Someone to go to bed with every night, wake up with every morning and enjoy everything in between. He should be my best friend and awesome lover, make me laugh and yell at him, bring me into his life and become a part of mine. Chemistry obviously a must!! ;-)
The 3 biggest things to me are CHEMISTRY, HONESTY and LAUGHTER. If you have that, everything else is cake! A second thought- core values and beliefs can make or break a relationship. I learned that the hard way. So let me add, VALUES, and ACCEPTANCE of others differences to that list. If I fall in love with you, I want you just the way you are. I'm not looking for a project and I'm not going to change who I am for anyone either. Compromise, absolutely! Change, never!
I believe that true happiness comes from within and if you aren't happy with yourself, bringing someone else into your life is not going to fix that. I'm very comfortable in my own skin and able to express myself and like to be silly and laugh, as well as have deep meaningful conversations. I don’t like much conflict, HATE arguing and am not controlling or a nag and MUST have a man that is same!
I'm not the typical 40 year old. I've been mistaken for my daughter's sister hundreds of times and while I've had 3 children, I still wear a bikini and am in good shape. I will always take care of myself and want to stay youthful but I'm not an extremist. I practice balance-eat well and exercise a few times a week (prefer hiking over the gym), keep good, healthy relationships and enjoy life. I’m not locked into a 9 to 5 job and am able to enjoy life and would love a man to enjoy it with.
Some things I'm into are my weekly yoga classes, walking, hiking, the mountains, beach and just about anything outdoors, although I can just as much enjoy a day of doing absolutely nothing and sometimes I prefer just that. I'm athletic but not necessarily an athlete. What I'm trying to say is that I don't own spandex or a swim cap and don't see a triathlon in my near future. But who knows? A sexy smile from the man I love can get me to try most anything.
I should mention that I have 3 amazingly smart, hilarious, beautiful and crazy kids. My girls are 22 and 20 (they have their own places) and are my very best friends that I have some of the best times with. My 12 yr old son is my only child living at home and he is also my best friend and the only guy in my life right now. I don't know what I did to get such awesome kids but I really think that I'm the luckiest woman in the world to have such great kids and loving parents. Life is good!! Just need that special someone to make it complete now.
