Hmmm, how does one begin this sort of thing? Thoughout the years, I have got used to being asked out, but as the River of Time flows on, filling both wisdom and memory into our heart and mind, I find it harder to meet eligible nice guys by way of waiting to be asked out. In this era of Technology, when everything seems to be happening faster and faster, at higher and higher efficiency, I must admit, Internet does seem to be an efficient way to meet people. But along with the efficiency, comes a big problem as well: can one shop for true love like one shops for a CD? So many selections readily available, all at one mouse click away? And when human mammal has essentially become parthenogenesis, able to have offsprings and family without the other sex, and when different state, train lines, zip codes pose as serious obstacle in finding love in the modern day busy schedule. A hopeless romantic at heart, who still believes in the magic of love, I stay hopeful....So here I am, hoping to meet that special someone online.
Now a little about me, intelligent, kind, caring, warm, and sensitive, generally a happy person, confident, outgoing and generally easy and fun to be with. I am grateful for life's many blessings: a strong loving family, good education, good financial stability, many loving and supportive friends, and most of all, an inquisitive mind for continuous learning, internal strength and inner peace that comes from a strong belief. I love books, and am constantly reading, both Chinese and English, fiction and non-fiction. My profession is finance, but I have other hobbies as well, including: dancing, creative writing, volunteering, and traveling. Equally comfortable in hiking boots and classy dress. :)
I love life, I love the world. For that reason, I love traveling, love seeing new places and meeting new people. I am a Vegan of many years, with a very soft heart, many things move me to tears, but I do have a bright personality and generally very upbeat. :)
