What do I offer a girl? Lots. I'm well educated and okay looking; I have an honorable profession (teacher, writer/poet), and author of the novel, The First Sandcastle. I also have an admirable sensitive side not found in most guys. I'm a homeowner in the Bay Area and, for the most part, financially stable. I can be described as a well accomplished person, and some people tend to be intimidated by this. I guess this is what's led me to a sometimes lonely and secluded life. Not many women I've come across have understood my drive and desire to be successful. I was first in my family to graduate from college and then graduate school--and as an educated Hispanic, I have always felt trapped between two worlds. I'm into sports. Yes, I sometimes tend to watch football on Sundays. College basketball is a must--especially during March. I play competitive tennis all over the Bay Area and keep in shape by working out about 4 to 5 times a week. I find it hard to relax, but when I do, I like to watch the Discovery or the History Channel or go out and walk my dogs Cody & Rocky. I would describe myself as very affectionate and love to express my affection with people I love. I've already been through all the little games people tend to play and believe in true honesty. I want someone who wants the same. I'm looking for a mature, attractive woman who can understand and appreciate my passionate side and accomplishments--a woman who will give me enough of her time and affection to have a serious/meaningful relationship--but who will also give me the space I need for my career and other ambitious endeavors. If I sound all too typical, please let me know. I hide nothing.
