I grew up in New Hampshire, went to college in Ohio, and came to Chicago in 2001. I worked in software for the first 7 years of my career but grew tired of life in a cubicle farm and transitioned into corporate sales before pursuing real estate. I love the industry and enjoy the challenge of an ever-changing environment combined with an opportunity to actually help people on a daily basis.
I never would have guessed that Chicago would become my home but it is a terrific place to live and I am constantly impressed by how much there is to do. It really is a great town. However, I grew up in a family that traveled and have discovered that I am happiest when I can get away for at least a few weeks in January or February. We have the best summers but the winter is a challenge.
As for who I'm looking for, I am interested in meeting someone who is down to earth, intelligent, attractive, lives an active lifestyle, and knows what she wants from life. An interest in the outdoors is a plus. I am not interested in endless dating and am on Match in an attempt to find someone really special who I have a great deal in common with, love being around, and can have a serious relationship with. I don't expect this to happen instantly, and frankly prefer to move at a comfortable pace, but having a family more soon than later is a goal.
