It seems a little strange to try and sell yourself in 4,000 characters or less, but this is how we choose books, movies, and shampoo, so why not dates...
I'm very career driven. I'm lucky enough to have a job that I love as a research specialist at a school for individuals with developmental disabilities, and will graduate with my master's degree in May. My current goal is to be published within the next few years. I'm looking for someone who is ambitious and passionate about what he does, whatever it may be.
A sense of humor is important. I love to laugh, and can appreciate the humor in anything, from Step Brothers to Monty Python. Almost everything I say is sarcastic, and I'm rarely serious. I would love to find someone who will laugh at the little things with me, and hopefully we can make one another laugh.
Sundays are for football in the winter, and the beach in the summer. Dollar Dog Day is worthy of celebration (and fasting for a day or two prior).
I love to read. Of all the things you'd expect to find in a woman's purse, there's always a book in mine (as well as one the floor, shelves, tables, etc). I want to learn as much as I can, and am always looking to try new foods and activities. While I would like to find someone who shares some of the same interests, I think one of the best parts of a relationship is the potential to learn from one another. If you recommend a book, a band, a new restaurant, or a Saturday afternoon activity, I'm likely to give it a shot. At the very least it will make for a good story later!
No one likes a spoiler, so I'll leave it at that. If you think you might be interested and would like to know more, don't be shy!
