I am an outgoing, friendly, and social person. Many people have told me that I am very passionate about many things and can be a fire-cracker! I have always been very passionate about whatever job I have. It could be volunteer or paid, but all jobs I've had, have always involved doing things for other people! Katimavik, day/residential camps, spectrum programs and outdoor adventure programs. Now, it's teaching and my students!
I have a dynamic personality and a really easy time making friends with anyone. I can fit into almost any social situation from portaging in Algonquin, canoeing through the Florida Everglades, and white water paddling to cleaning up quite nicely for a formal event! I like one-on-one time with close friends, but I also love huge groups of people at parties and events! I enjoy all types of people. I'm very open and honest (sometimes a little too much) and wear my heart on my sleeve. I find people know the kind of person I am very quickly, but few actually figure everything out, there are many layers.
I love my career, and my friends and family are incredibly important to me; however, it’s very important for me to find a balance between work, friends, family and love. When I'm in a relationship I view it as a partnership, and I put my whole heart into it! I view life as a journey better shared with someone, "happiness is only real when shared with others" (Christoper McCandless).
