I love reading this part of the profile, although I don’t think I’m that interesting but here goes nothing:
I am an old soul and am convinced I grew up in the wrong era. I have a growing vinyl collection that I am quite fond of. Some of my favorites are Etta James, B.B. King, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Joss Stone, and even Prince (yeh I know!) It is wonderful to be able to come home from a stressful day and enjoy great music and a great tasting glass of wine. I still believe that chivalry is not dead, and somewhere there is a man who believes the same.
I like to think I am creative and artistic, but I’m really not…(pinterest can take all the credit). I am however musically inclined and play several instruments and sing. ( I am a worship leader and love every second of it) I enjoy being outside but do not enjoy camping in tents (unless it’s on the beach). I have studied abroad in Costa Rica and have travelled to Brazil and Venezuela. Oh yeh..I speak Spanish.
I enjoy cooking, but not for one. I am a late night gym rat because there aren’t many people and I can focus on working out without getting distracted. I have dimples only because I am always laughing. I’ve learned there’s a time and a place for everything, although I try not to take life too seriously. I am the best Tia (aunt) ever and love each of my 5 nieces and 2 nephews to pieces. My favorite bible verse (for obvious reasons) is Proverbs 27:2 which says: “Let someone else praise you, not your own mouth; and outsider and not your own lips."
I have a sassy diva dog named Lola, she got that name because of the Barry Manilow song Copacabana you know how it goes.. "her name is Lola, she was a show girl. With yellow feathers in her hair, and a dress cut down to there." I'm sure you have stopped reading by now, but I'm going to keep going.
I enjoy reading, learning new things, and making memories I will never forget. I have a bachelors degree, Master's, and am pursuing a PhD. Don't let that intimidate you, I'm just a big dork that likes to be in school! I am a family therapist (don’t worry I won’t analyze you or try to fix you.) My schedule can be chaotic but I always make time for the important things in life and I wouldn’t mind sharing those moments with someone! Oh, and the most important thing you need to know about me is that Humor is absolutely the way to my heart so if you can achieve that, you are golden!
