Well I adopted a little boy who will be 4 in February. He's been with me since June 2010 and I'm super lucky to be his mom.
Some of the things I love...sailing is probably my biggest passion, crossing the finish line in Dillon (hopefully in 1st place) and soaking in the mountains and gorgeous scenery, traveling the country for sailboat races (although not as often as I used to), great squash matches at the DAC, finding a great “secret” tennis court to bang the ball around, sweating until I feel faint in a challenging hot yoga class, and a bright sunny day on the slopes at Copper. I like camping and spending time in the mountains although admit I don't do it all that much anymore, learning something new, finishing the latest oil painting, Top Chef (yes I admit it), relaxing on a beach with a great book, road trips, Boston, sushi, cheering for the Avs, Buffs, Red Sox and Pats (yes Tom Brady is dreamy), keeping score at a rockies game (dorky I know), an ice cold Smirnoff Ice on a hot day, The Killers at Red Rocks, cuddling on a sofa for a great movie, the CO ballet or the latest play in NY, Ben Jerry’s Cake Batter ice cream, and feeding friends at my home for impromptu dinner parties.
I’m kind, generous, thoughtful and pretty laid back. I am NOT into drama and never really have conflict in my relationships. I believe it comes down to respect and communication. If you can maintain that, there really never has to be any of that craziness. I’m honest, genuine, outspoken, and absolutely ‘what you see is what you get’ - I don’t play games and am low maintenance (I know a bunch of people say it but I really am). I absolutely loved my experience being a step-mom when I was married and it made me sure that I wanted that in my life. I'd really like to find a great guy that wants this too. I’m blessed with a terrific career, comfortable life, close knit family and a beautiful home. I would say that I have my act together more than most. I definitely know what I want in life and am pretty good at making it happen. Next up…finding a great partner.

Who is into some of the same sports and outdoorsy things that I'm into
Who can be spontaneous- who could jump in the car and head to the mountains on a whim
Who would be as comfortable dressed up at the theater downtown as he would be on a week long camping/kayaking trip in Mexico
Who loves family - who would eventually be a dad to my little one
Who likes to travel and explore new places
Who can communicate and share his feelings even when it is hard
Who loves to hunker down beneath a nice heavy down comforter in the dead of winter
Who is thoughtful and introspective and interested in learning, growing and expanding his horizons
