I am an active person, usually on the go, looking for someone with whom to do things -- concerts, hiking, movies, beach-combing, dinners, travel... anything really. I love to explore new places -- especially abroad. I'm curious about the world and the people in it. I travel without an itinerary. I like to wake up in the middle of life. No resorts for me. I like to keep busy, but I can also really enjoy quiet time.
I believe I am who I am. I try every day to be in touch with that person and be true to her. I don't want to be somebody else.... I don't wear make-up or heals, my hair might be shorter than yours, I believe I can do just about anything I set out to do, I think whoever gets to a door first should hold it open for others, I really like to drive, I love to fix things myself, and I love to build things.
I'm just putting all that out there because, if you're looking for someone who cares more about her appearance than who she is, I'm probably not the one for you. I like to use my hands and get dirty. I am a kind, honest, sincere, intelligent, open-minded woman. I like to spend my time on the things that are important to me rather than getting ready to be seen. I try to be open, honest and sincere. I want to live with integrity. I am fiercely independent (but am learning to ask for help). I have a fun personality and a boisterous laugh (that I like to share with whole rooms).
I played D1 volleyball in college, and I know quite a bit about sports. That being said, I don't get too fired up about any sports I'm not actually involved in directly. I don't have a TV either, so my exposure to shows and sports is pretty limited.
My ideal guy would share my curiosity about the world, understand (and actually like) my humor, keep pace with me intellectually and also with my energy level, and want to experience everything he can in the short time we're here.
