Hi. So, I like what I do for a living which is fortunate because I spend a lot of time doing it.
I did a bit of growing up in NoVa (moved a lot growing up) so it's nice to be back. My favorite thing in DC is gone though - it was the giant (or life-size) dinosaur outside the Natural History Museum ... you were the cool kid if you could make it to the top of the triceratops. I'm sure someone sued one day and that's why it's gone. Wish it was still there - I would totally climb that thing.
My social life can most adequaltely be described as... lame. Most of my friends here are married and have kids. I love hanging out with them but I need to find people to go out with where "going out" equals more than a quick trip to Costco and "party" doesn't involve someone trying to sell me cookware or overpriced baskets. :)
I would love to meet someone ... insert what everyone else puts ... who doesn't want to meet someone fun, smart, adventurous? Although, my caveat would be someone who isn't too sensitive. I can be blunt and sarcastic but hurting people's feelings isn't nice and I don't like to be not nice.
I am looking for someone to go out with, stay in with, talk to when things are good and bad ... one day hike the Appalachian trail with and go to Easter Island with ... nothing too grand. :)
