I recently took a private sea plane to the dry tortuga islands off the coast of Key West Florida. It is one of the most secluded national parks in the country. Built on the island was a huge brick fortress designed to scare away pirates and then converted into a prison that held people associated with the assassination of Lincoln. It was a big scary place that had no running water and if you were sentenced there you did not expect to live long. We were shown the jail cells and asked to sit in there to see what it felt like. At that moment I yelled pirates and ran out of the cell and down the winding steps across the yard where there was a huge cannon on display. I climbed to the top of the hill and pointed out to the ocean demanding they bring beer and a DJ to turn this place into a private dance club.
