Most people haven't dated a deaf girl. We're remarkably similar to other women. As an added bonus, medical advances allow me to communicate well with some lip reading. In fact, I bet I can tell you some fun stories.
I still love and enjoy music just as much as the next person, I just experience it differently. I love to travel (my trip to Australia was by far one of my favorites) and have visited South Africa, London, and the Caribbean. I would like to visit Italy and Greece one day. I enjoy wine and beer tastings and would love to do an all day tour of any of the famous wine producing regions or breweries, maybe Napa Valley someday. Weekend getaways are great and I love being outdoors, especially in the fall for the feeling of crisp air. I have found that spontaneous trips are often some of the best and most memorable.
I am a perceptive, intelligent, giving and caring person. I would like to meet a man with similar qualities. I find drive, patience, and sensitivity extremely attractive. To be honest, and I apologize if this sounds cliche in any way, I love men who are like a slice of an American pie: manly, good with tools, like to watch sports, and are chivalrous.
