Independent - relationships are certainly about finding the one person that completes you and you want to spend a lot of time with. However, time spent with other social circles and doing separate activities is important for balance and growth.
Motivated - i.e. have a career or aspirations to get one.
Athletic - a gold medal on your bookcase isn't necessary, but a moderate effort to maintain physical fitness certainly is.
Intelligent - misuse of their/there/they're/you're/your is automatic grounds for dismissal. And while I do enjoy gossipy trash like Jersey Shore from time to time, if your only topics of conversation revolve around shopping and Kim Kardashian, we will have a problem.
Vocal - I really appreciate women who are upfront and forward. Speaking your mind and clearly communicating is very important to me.
Satisfied - if you're not happy with yourself, trying to fill that void through someone else is not going to work. I'm looking for someone who is good with where they are in life, and are looking for someone to share the experience with.
Appreciative of food and beverage - I like to cook and am pretty good at it. Someone who picks at a garden salad for "dinner" or doesn't eat meat probably won't get along very well with me.
