Hmm… Well, I'm a little shy at first, but open up once I get to know someone. And apparently I talk a lot sometimes...but not in an annoying way (I hope). =) I love to laugh and I would say I have a good sense of humor and can be pretty sarcastic…my boss has called me a smartass (but he is too so it works out). I’m independent, confident and intelligent. My friends say I am brutally honest… I am open-minded as well as stubborn…so if I’m really set on something, it’s hard to change my mind, but I'll at least listen to what you have to say. =) I am a driven person and I definitely have goals. My career is important to me. I’m a hard worker and so far it has paid off…I have a good job at a great company. I try to stay healthy and staying in shape is important to me. Shopping and going to the gym are my two favorite ways to de-stress! Going to the gym is the cheaper option, so I try to do that more often. =) I am not a huge sports fan, but I think going to sporting events is a lot of fun! Watching them on TV, however, not as much fun.
I am close to my family, which I think is important – it has helped make me the person I am today. My friends are also important to me and I like to spend time with them when I can. Since my best friends from high school all live in different places, we make a point to do a game night every year when we are all home for Christmas. It’s a tradition and I look forward to it every year.
So, what kind of guy am I looking for? Well, I’m kind of picky…ok, “kind of” might be an understatement…but that's because I have a pretty good idea of what qualities I'm looking for in a guy. I would like to find someone with whom I could potentially have a long-term relationship; however, I don't want to rush into anything. I want a guy who is ambitious. A guy who will show me that he cares about me (just by doing/saying little things), but not someone who calls/texts me every 5 minutes! So, no “stage 5 clingers” please! =) I think it’s important for me to find someone who is close with their family because family is important. I want a guy who I can joke around with and who has a great sense of humor. Someone who I have a lot in common with (mostly in terms of morals, values, etc), but who will complement my personality as well. Having differences can be really great sometimes!
