About me…….I'm a confident, caring, genuine, goofy, serious, athletic but still a nerd, fun person. My friends would say I keep the mood lite and like to laugh. I am definitely young at heart. Though I do have a serious side and enjoy and connect with people who can have good conversation. I've got typical "Midwestern" values. Oh and none of the women in my pics are exs.
Friends and family are very important to me. Without them what do we really have? I take my job seriously, but I work to live and not the other way around. Enjoy the occasional rock out session and sometimes I like to simply have a good beer or a glass of wine at dinner.
Why am I on here? I am a Chicago native who is still semi new to LA. I am looking to meet new people who are good hearted by nature. People who are fun and easy going. People who know who they are. I want to find someone who makes me a better person and I do the same for them. Being there for each other when needed, pushing each other when needed, hugging each other when needed, and laughing with each other when needed. But I am not into rushing that. It's got to feel right.
I like to get out and explore but I also like to enjoy the couch and watch a season of 30 Rock, The Wire, or some netflix. It can be nice to throw on my oversized sweatpants, hoodie, and cook some dinner after a long day or week. I get a travel bug here and there. I have been on separate trips to England/Scotland, Paris, Greek Islands/Istanbul Turkey, Sri Lanka/India, New York, Sanibel Island, Spain, Hawaii, Germany a few times (actually lived there for a year). And I have a two week trip planned to go back to Europe this year and hope to make it to Asia at some point.
I have enjoyed some of the local treks in the LA area including Santa Barbara, San Diego, Phoenix, Lake Cachuma, Vegas, Palos Verdes, Big Bear, and hope to explore some more......Yosemite, Mammoth, etc. Currently living in and loving Venice.
About what I would be looking for.....sincere, truthful, trustworthy, can make me laugh, smart, fun, up for new things, willing to do the same things, attractive, not uptight, laid back, good core moral values, good heart...... I do want to have chemistry, on many levels, and it is important that the person has similar values and desires/goals as I do in my life.
You are ok that I don't love museums or opera but I'll go with you if you love it. I do appreciate the arts though and find some musicals entertaining.
I like meeting new people and if I meet someone I click with, then I'm sure we'll find we couldn't be happier.......and Boom goes the dynamite.
