I'm an educated, successful woman looking to meet interesting people and see where it leads.
I was born and raised in Russia and love travel, all things art and the simple things in life. I am very down to earth and love to live life.
I enjoy hockey, basketball, all things water, try to get to the beach a couple times a year, go tubing and stay near a pool. I work out consistently and do things like 5k runs and the like. By no means a model or trying to be someone else's idea of what's attractive, I just like the endorphins I get from being active.
I've been told I'm an intellectual, which in my opinion is a stretch but I think what they meant by that is that I've read a couple of books in my lifetime. :) I've also been told I've lived an interesting life; that I can agree with. I want to eventually look back and have memories of best times, worst times, quiet times - they all shape us into the folks we are today.
I enjoy the finer things in life but I believe that all material possessions are transient and don't bring long term joy; in fact the more you chase them the more unhappy the constant yearning for more can make you. I won't stop working hard for what I have, but I see money and things as a vehicle for enjoying what's really important....family and those close to us...not an end goal in and of itself.
I have 2 kids, a dog and a cat. That's today's package special. :)
I don't regret any of my past relationships if only for a simple fact that they served to make me a more aware, thoughtful person when it comes to bringing someone into my life. I am somewhat protective of my heart and can come across as guarded. Hopefully that's not seen as a character flaw, more like an endearing quirk and being selective.
I love the feeling of loving someone with all your heart and being in true partnership with that person, where the sum of the two of us is greater than its parts. I hope to find that soon.
