I'm very active. I work out often (lifting/cardio). Coaching high school volleyball keeps me moving, and I play organized sand volleyball in the summer. I enjoy golfing, too. With summers off, I try to play as many courses as I can. I just learned how to snowboard last winter. I consider myself to be pretty athletic, however, this was seriously the toughest sport I've attempted thus far. It took me a few falls to figure things out, but I'm on my way...bound and determined to conquer this endeavor. After only 4-5 runs here in PA, I ventured with friends to Utah to give it a go. I have to say, it was intimidating at first but turned out to be an exceptional time.
I teach high school Biology and Chemistry. I absolutely love my job and my students. Each day brings something new and exciting. My students keep me laughing constantly (you never know what they're going to do or say...especially as 10th-12th graders). They also keep me young and updated on the latest trends...lol. It's true! My summer job, interestingly enough, consists of me holding down the raft at the pool. It's a tough undertaking, but someone's got to do it!
I love to laugh so a sense of humor is a must!
I'm a sportsfan, but I'm by no means a crazy fanatic. I enjoy the Pens, Pirates, and Steelers. Although watching games at home can be a good time, I prefer to be out and about to take them in. I get a kick out of going to actual games. I enjoy having a few beers and gabbing with friends at sports bars.
I'm all about music, too. I listen to everything...except techno music...the only time I find techno useful is during an aerobics class to increase my heart rate. I have a weakness for live bands. In particular, I love acts that center around acoustic guitars. (I know what you're thinking...so cliche.) I attended several concerts within the past year (Kenny Chesney, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Counting Crows, Sugarland, Lady Antebellum, Usher, etc.). I told you. I listen to everything!
