If they offered me a chance to go on that first trip to mars, I'd be on the spaceship in a heartbeat. I've traveled quite a bit by myself in the US and Europe. I'm generally pretty quiet and laid back, but I think I could be called a "novelty seeker." I find life to be incredibly exciting. I drive fast. I love spicy food. And I'm fascinated by new ideas.
With friends, I enjoy mountain biking, playing golf, and having a good beer. I love a good conversation--philosophy of the universe to neuroscience to cars to music to 90s nostalgia.
When I'm alone I enjoy reading, playing guitar, listening to a pretty eclectic bunch of music (from Beck to Bach), teaching myself Spanish, and traveling. I find that I meet far more people traveling by myself. Some of the best times I've had have been with complete strangers!
I enjoy the company of people who are genuine and considerate, but who also know how to have a good time. Brains and beauty are a tough combo to beat. But really, I think it all comes down to chemistry.
