Hi, my name is Kelly. I was born in China but I moved to America at the age of 7. I can still read and speak Chinese, but I am pretty sure I have been Americanized. I am very social and I loving meeting new people. It'll be great to meet someone from another culture! I enjoy learning about other cultures and of course eating new foods is definitely a plus!
Animals of any kind are considered lovable and "cute" to me. Yes, even snakes and tarantulas. Currently, I have two Egyptian Spiny Mice that I bought from breeders at a reptile show (which I often attend). These little guys are extremely interesting animals, and I love them to death. I would never get a pet without a solid background knowledge of them and how to take care of them. Responsibility comes first, my enjoyment of having a pet comes second.
Currently, I am pursuing a double degree in university. My hope is to finish up my schooling and move on towards the job world. But right now, my concentration is getting that degree and also looking for internships. I can be very ambitious and competitive in life. I am goal-oriented, but on the other hand I also enjoy the ride along the way. So it'll be nice to find someone who understands that part of my personality. That might have made me sound serious...But my friends constantly tell me that whenever they are with me, they're always having fun. I believe having a positive outlook on life. Even if life has served me a rotten meal, I will not be defeated and will somehow find a way to work my way towards positivism.
My favorite pass times are hanging out with friends and family, writing on my blog, occasionally play a little StarCraft 2, exercising, and enjoying the outdoors. I am not that good at StarCraft 2 but it's definitely something to do when I want to wind down for the week. I work out about 5 times a week and each session I run for at least 40 mins (nonstop). I am considering training for the marathon someday. It is definitely on my bucket list.
