I grew up in Seattle. I wore Birkenstocks, played ultimate frisbee and went hiking a bunch. Moved to the mid-west for college, swapped the Birks for running shoes and learned that a day floating down a Missouri river is as good as it gets. Now newly in Philly, I'm on the hunt for my next pair of shoes (don't say boat shoes) and pass time. Hoping for some combination of cheap beer, guacamole and roller derby.
During the week I'm a med student, which means lots of boring hours in the library punctuated by moments of pure awesomeness. I also work in a lab that torments defenseless liver cells with drugs.
