I am an optimistic happy person looking for someone who knows themselves and what they want in the future. Hopefully that would include a family in the future. I would love someone who is adventurous and more than anything else good hearted.
On a typical weekend, you can find me at a local farmer’s market shopping for the freshest produce to cook a fantastic dinner for local friends such as coq au vin or a new risotto recipe. Cooking is a relatively new venture, but baking is a long-standing hobby with coworkers as the guinea pigs for any new recipes or perfecting the perfect chocolate chip cookie. The perfect cookie is the antithesis of my past ballet lifestyle. Now days I watch ballet more than perform but the arts are still a huge part of my life.
I would be considered an introvert by most social conventions but I am surprisingly good in social situations especially when the interactions are one-on-one. While I would never be considered the life-of-the-party, I hear that I manage to make an impression that seems to stick with each person I meet. With friends and those that I trust implicitly, I have a thoroughly quirky sense of humor that can catch those who aren’t quite use to it off guard at times. When being “auntie” to my friend’s kids I can play princesses with a 4 year old, discuss the intricacies of Star Trek with an 11 year old and become the “cool aunt” to a 16 year old when introducing him to Firefly.
While it takes a bit of time to get to know me, once you get to know me you get a someone who is quirky, fun and silly at all possible moments.
