I come from just your average Irish Catholic family where my Mom is a former nun and met my die hard Yankees fan Dad in a bar, my sister is a lesbian, and I did beauty pageants....if that's not a conversation starter then I don't know what is!
I have always been happiest when I'm busy and grew up going from soccer practice to dance class to a voice lesson to another team's soccer practice.... not kidding. And I enjoyed every minute of it!!!
Today I still like to keep myself busy with a lot of fun things...friends, family, good dinners, good wine, going out, staying in, sunday fundays, working out, central park, exploring nyc, you name it. Work of course keeps me busy as well...but I'm one of the lucky ones who can say I love what I do!
I consider myself a glass half full kind of gal, fun, feisty, hard working, ready to laugh, confident, independent, and loyal. I love football (Buffalo Bills....I know.), baseball (Yankees), and also music, theatre, and fashion. I appreciate a challenge. I enjoy witty banter. I believe in the importance of the little things in life.
I am very reluctantly coming to this site after being frustrated with the overcrowded nyc bar scene and a good friend finding a great guy through match. In "real life" I've gone on about a million first dates and very few second dates. I'm just looking for a genuinely good guy! Someone with a heart of gold, close to family, communicative, ambitious, generous, affectionate, passionate, fun, active, and funny...a best friend.
