I moved to the Midwest about a year ago, venturing to this new land from the East coast. It’s been a bit of an adjustment (still getting used to people not blowing their horns and smiling at you as you walk by – and not because they’re looking to steal your purse).
It’s been a very liberating experience – picking up and moving hundreds of miles away from all family and friends. I’ve learned to stand on my own (paying my mortgage, making new friends, having to kill the spiders myself), and while I’m proud of that independence, I’m looking for someone to share in this crazy thing called life.
I’m driven and have life goals – friends have used the terms intelligent, kind, genuine and a fun loving person to describe me. All qualities I would hope to find in a partner.
I enjoy a good witty banter; I’m told sarcasm is another one of my glowing personality traits. Country music is my biggest guilty pleasure, shortly followed by board games (I promise, not as near as nerdy as it sounds). I enjoy reading - and not in a cool Kindle kind of way .. more of an ‘I had a library card and use it on a weekly basis’ kind of way. People might venture to say my weekend plans are often bi-polar. From a new recipe and redbox, dinner at a Broad Ripple locale, drinks down mass ave, duck pin bowling and an improv show, or a game night in with friends – I consider them all ideal Saturday nights.
If you think we might hit it off, and are open to killing spiders, feel free to reach out - or get crazy with a passive aggressive wink
