For starters, I was born, raised and educated in NorCal. About 6 years ago, I relocated to San Diego for job. Due to my love of the ocean and the outdoors, the transition to San Diego has been extremely easy.
I'm an active guy and enjoy just about anything outdoors except rollerblading. Some of my favorite sports are tennis, snowboarding, cycling and golf (when I hit it straight). Since San Diego is snow challenged, I replaced my passion for snowboarding with surfing. Strange as it may sound, I find surfing to be addictive, ever challenging and meditative.
Some of my other interests are cooking (seriously), listening to music, attempting to learn guitar, movies, reading and trying new food and wine. I also love to travel both locally and abroad. I've been fortunate to travel to many of the Northern States in the U.S., parts of Canada/BC, Costa Rica, Baja and Mainland Mexico, Nicaragua and a few countries in Europe but I'm always itching for more.
As far as food goes, I enjoy discovering a hole in the wall with great food as much, if not more, than a fine dining experience. That said, I still appreciate a fancy meal with a great bottle of wine. Sometimes the meal at the secret spot just turns out to be more fun and adventurous.
If my friends were to share something about me, they'd say that I am loyal, reliable, selfless and supportive no matter what challenge presents itself. Though I have many acquaintances, there are only a select few that I remain really close to and consider to be lifelong friends. Most people would also say that I am fairly sarcastic...errrr...really sarcastic.
Some of the traits I look for in a partner that are most important are intelligence, kindness, being active (athletically), attractive, adventurous (w/ food, travel), respectful of others and generosity.
