I think I’ll just start with a series of lists. That way, I can communicate how wildly intriguing, smart, and sexy I am without revealing any of my grammatical weaknesses…
Things I am:
-I am a songwriter, musician, and performer. I have been writing, recording, and playing in bands since high school. Music and art are my life’s greatest passions and I feel grateful to be able to learn, play, and teach everyday.
-I am a music teacher in a variety of capacities (Although I secretly enjoy teaching toddlers the most. It’s almost like teaching goldfish because they forget every three seconds where they are and how magical music it, and then all of a sudden they remember and their little faces light up like they just landed on the moon. Or heard their first Beatles record.)
-I just moved to Denver this year and I am in love with this city, the people, and the beauty that surrounds it all.
-I have lots of education in a field totally unrelated to music, but I had a bit of a revolution of the spirit and gave it all up to do what I love everyday.
-I am humbled and struck by how miraculous, mysterious, beautiful and ridiculously difficult this life can be.
(Ok, that was really more like a pseudo-paragraph parading around as a list)
Good things about me:
-Most of my jokes are pretty funny. A few of them are really, really awful, but I’ll probably still laugh pretty hard. I think it’s important to have a sense of humor about ourselves and the world.
-I am very social and given enough time, I will strike up a conversation with most strangers.
-I love connecting with people through music, art, nature, humor, and really great conversation.
-I try to live as authentically and courageously as I can, I think it’s important to do so, even when it’s hard.
-I like to think I am pretty compassionate. I care a lot (and think a lot) about what’s going on in the world today and what I can do to help encourage and bring about change.
Things that attract to me to Men:
-Passion. Men are most attractive when they have found work and hobbies that they love and are dedicated to.
-Compassion. It’s time we were all a bit kinder to each other anyhow.
-Humor
-Great communication skills. I am really expressive, I need someone who can keep up.
-Intelligence. I like curious men who love to learn, travel, read, experience new things, and discuss ideas.
