Tomorrow I begin a new chapter in life by becoming part of a great team of awesome people in a job similar to that of a patient care advocate-ombusdman (Walter Reed).This will quite possibly be one of the most challenging jobs I have ever had the pleasure of working, but also one of the most rewarding, as i will be working with newly returned wounded warriors, as we work together to adapt and overcome debilitating injuries, both mental and physical.
From the great state of Washington and Puget sound area, I will miss the fishing, snowshoe and skiing trips but mostly my friends. I look forward to making new friends In my time off, I enjoy weekends out exploring the area and taking in the new scenic areas hiking, camping, hunting and fishing. So like anyone with a busy schedule, giving this a try to see what may develop.
Sometimes the best days are those in which you get out of bed, shower, grab a good cup of coffee, call up some friends and just head out on a random road trip to see something new, be it local or a spontaneous plane trip (passport in hand).
I am looking for someone who may like doing things outdoors, at least a little, which would b greatly appreciated, as I have gotten back into kayaking, and road bycicling. As well as working with(dogs and or horses,) as well for I have a great 8 year old a Golden who works with me as a hospital therapy dog. Grew up riding and training horses in the Midwest, and look forward to getting back into it soon. SO, in closing, I look forward to finding out more about the local area as I have only been to DC once. It is always much more fun no matter the area to be explored whit someone to share the fun with. Do not hesitate to contact me, for if nothing else I would like to make some great new friends.
