There?s nothing more exciting to me than stepping off a plane in a country I?ve never been to before, carrying nothing but a backpack, a sketchbook and a camera. My favorite thing to do is find a nice spot, take out my sketchbook and draw the people and buildings around me while sipping a cold beer. There are so many amazing things to do, to see, to try in this world, and I can?t stand the idea of not experiencing it all. I grew up in New York, went to school for architecture and worked in the field for a few years. A couple of years ago, I decided to move to L.A. and pursue my true dream of working as a movie animator. I started a small computer graphics and animation company, and I?m taking animation classes and working on my demo reel in hopes of getting the dream job with a place like Disney, Pixar or Dreamworks. My career has me spending most of my time in front of a computer, so in my free time I like to get outdoors as much as possible. I like hiking and mountain biking, and my sunset runs in Griffith Park are necessary to maintain my sanity. I went rock climbing for the first time in Laos, and I?m trying to get more into that. Travel is a big part of my life. I studied abroad in Florence and Vienna in college. I?ve backpacked all over Europe, and this summer I spent a month backpacking through Bangkok, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. I loved it so much that I?m already planning to return to southeast Asia for a month next year. I?m planning a trip in a few years with some college friends to do the World Cup in Brazil and then go backpacking through Brazil and Argentina. I love eating, but I don?t have much time to cook, so I like finding good restaurants. My favorites are places like the small restaurants in K-Town, Hollywood or Little Tokyo. I love Korean, Thai and Peruvian food, but I?ll try anything. I like finding great food trucks, too. Two things that drive me are ambition and passion. I?ve always felt that if my partner had a goal that was truly important for her to accomplish, I could help her do that. She should be passionate about something ? anything, really, as long as it?s a passion that drives ambition. We could push each other to achieve our dreams, but at the same time help each other take a break from our work and remind each other about the smaller joys in life. If a woman is witty, curious about seeing the world, loves traveling and backpacking and is passionate about something in her life? she?s got me. I'm new to online dating so I'm coming into this with an open mind and no expectations so if you're interested don't be shy. If true love isn't in our future maybe a good friendship is.
