I am the type of person who enjoys spending a lot of time outdoors. Some of my favorite things to do are go to the mountains to camp or hike, go to the beach, especially at night to build a bonfire. Although I enjoy being outdoors, I also love to sit in front of the fireplace on a cold and rainy night. I also like to go to Angel games, the movies and very much enjoy traveling. I like listening to Classic Rock (The Beatles, Grateful Dead, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Eric Clapton, etc). Although I am not naturally talented, I enjoy playing music (guitar) with my friends from time to time. I consider myself a very mellow person who doesn't get too upset over life's unexpected events. I believe life is too short to spend energy on negative people or worrying about things I have no control over. I take time out of every morning to meditate and count my many blessings which include a challenging but totally fun job as a high school history teacher, four children (three out of four are adults), a wonderful daughter-inlaw and two awesome little grandsons.
The woman that I'm looking for cares about her health and appearance, has a great sense of humor, loves to laugh, loves romance, is calm, emotionally stable, likes to show and recieve affection, loves to snuggle up on the couch while watching a movie but also enjoys being outdoors and isn't afraid to get a little dirty on a hike, yet can clean up and wear something sexy when it's time to go out. Someone who has the same philosophy on life; that we should take time every day to take in the beauty of life and that gratitude is the key to happiness.
