Who am I? Well I'll tell you. I was born in New York and moved to Florida when I was about 4 years old. So I was raised in Florida. I'm the second oldest of eight. I can't remember there ever being a dull moment while I was growing up. Whether it was my sisters and I getting into trouble or just me acting a fool. Even though I grew up with my grandparents, my mother was still around. She's one tough cookie too. Raising six kids by herself....I have high respect for that woman.
After graduating high school, I wanted to do what the rest of my friends were doing, which was to go to college but, didn't last too long because I was more into partying like a college guy instead of being one. So I dropped out. Biggest mistake but I was young and stupid. After dropping out, I moved back to my town and worked for about a year and a half. Quickly, I realized that I wasn't doing anything for myself and was going nowhere fast. So, I decided to join the military. Best decision I have ever made in my life. I've been in the Navy 4 years now. Thanks to the Navy, though, I've had the opportunity to travel and visit places like Dubai, Cape Town, and England. So, I don't ever regret enlisting.
Currently, I'm working on my Bachelor's degree in Health Science.
Now let's see, what type of guy am I? Well I'm down to earth, laid back, and kind-hearted. My closest friends would most likely describe me as a jokester as I am always laughing, smiling, and cracking jokes. I'm very family oriented. I love my family. Of course, I don't have the most perfect family, but I would do anything for them and I love them to death. One word to describe them would be, CRAZY! I mean that in a good way though. :) I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I'm out-going and spontaneous. I enjoy going out and having a good time but I also enjoy staying in and relaxing. Whether it's channel surfing or reading a book. It really doesn't matter. I LOVE to cook. My favorite dishes to cook are Italian. I know what you're saying, "he's Spanish, shouldn't he be cooking Spanish food." Lol! Don't get me wrong. I can cook Spanish food and very well at that but I love Italian food. Let's see, what else?The most important thing to me is when it comes to respect, I am on the top of the list. I know how to treat a woman but she also needs to know how to respect me as well.
But enough about me. What am I looking for? Well that's simple. I'm looking for a woman who respects herself. Respect goes a long way with me. I'm looking for a woman with great personality. I highly admire a strong, independent woman. Someone who is not afraid to get a little dirty. Not afraid to challenge herself or me. Also, not afraid to get into a good "debate." I think it makes for a great relationship. I am looking for a woman who's ambitious and has a good head on her shoulders. She has to value her family and have a sense of what that means. I'm looking for someone who will appreciate the simple things in life. I'm looking for someone who enjoys life and can laugh at herself from time to time. If a woman can make me laugh and have a great sense of humor then she's a keeper. Also, a woman that knows her way around the kitchen is a plus. Like they say, "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach." Well with me, that is so true. If she doesn't know how to cook...it's ok too. I'll cook for the both of us. Lol! Last but not least, I like to take things slow. There's no rush in love. I believe that a strong friendship will build for a stronger romantic relationship in the long run.
