The hardest part of creating an online profile is actually starting the damn thing. Of course, whenever contestants on Jeopardy introduce themselves, they are able to do it so succinctly and in less than 10 seconds. “John comes all the way from Miami Beach where he works as an HR consultant. In his spare time he enjoys travel, coming up with different cocktails and is a world renowned collector of sea urchins”. Ok.. the last part isn’t true but imagining Alex Trebek saying it made it sound so cool.
I am a born and bred New Yorker but 8 years ago I traded in my parka, MetroCard, tiny apartment and the daily grind for flip flops, South Beach living and sun all year round. I still work hard, and miss the excitement of NYC but I kind of forget that when I am running along the MacArthur Causeway in January.
While I enjoy the work I do and have seen the fruits of my labors, I don’t let work define who I am. I allow my family, friends and life experiences shape me into the person I have become. Humor is also important to me. I am always the one trying to make others laugh, even at my own expense. Travel is a huge passion of mine. I love being in another country, immersing myself in the culture and seeing how another part of the world lives. I have been to 20 countries so far and I am always looking to get more ink on my passport.
