I’m a Detroit native who has been in LA for a couple of years. I’m a business owner, so I’ve had to be self-motivated, ambitious and driven in my career. You know the guy everyone goes to when they need something done? That’s me. But my life isn’t all work all the time; I also like to chill and have a night out.
I travel for my job and have been around the world and back. Thanks to that, I’m more articulate and culturally aware. It’s given me the ability to connect with all kinds of people.
I’m definitely a, “creative type.” I work with computers and technology so I’m always thinking about a problem from different angles. I approach relationships the same way: I try to see all sides of an argument and am good at compromise.
My idea of a great first date is anywhere we can have a conversation: probably dinner and drinks will work best. I’d rather not meet someone for the first time and then wind up staring at a movie screen for the whole evening. After we’ve gotten to know each other, though, let’s go hiking or camping. I love being outdoors and exploring nature. My family races hydroplane boats so I’m big on spending time on or near the water.
I’m always trying to live life to the fullest, so my ideal match is someone with an adventurous spirit. Let’s take a long weekend and drive with no destination. Or walk into the airport and hop on the next flight. I want someone who can keep me on my toes and will be able to surprise me.
