I like to smile and laugh and make fun of all the bonehead mistakes I make at work. I love the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, many different types of music and travel to places other than resorts.
I own my own successful Internet business with employees and have a youthful outlook, but I am also very responsible financially and otherwise. I have a four-year-old son that I love very much and see EVERY day. I read widely and have all sorts of interests, so I don't really relate that well to people who watch a lot of television or go shopping as entertainment. I would love to find a companion who has real passions (artistic, intellectual, career, etc.) and a youthful outlook.
By youthful outlook, I don't mean you dress like a teenager or a hip-hop wannabe. I mean things like your interests in popular music have evolved since college and you aren't still rockin' out to Styx or the Eagles. Also, it really would help if you didn't dress like my mom back in the day. I know that polyester-blend prints are back in style, but to me they are still as yucky as they were in the 70s.
I am on good terms with my ex, and I hope you are on good terms with yours.
Like most nice guys, I am friends with several of my ex-girlfriends going all the way back to college. These friendships are not based on romantic opportunism or the potential to "get back together" but because they are good people, including my ex-wife of 9 years. I routinely run errands and do house repairs for her because she is the mother of my wonderful son. This should not threaten any emotionally mature woman who has had healthy relationships with men, but God knows there are some strange people out there.
I am trying to find a kind, well-balanced person who is happy with their life. Please email me if that describes you.
