I am a genuine, laid back kind of guy, even shy with a welcoming sense of humor. I prefer country music but I enjoy most genres. I do enjoy movies and relaxing at home while watching a good movie. I enjoy meeting open minded people who enjoy exploring new places and trying new things. Anyone who is easy-going, sociable, and loves to laugh will get along great with me. I am waiting for the court system to finalize my divorce. I have a step-daughter who calls me her real Dad and I call her my own, she even looks like me.She starts college this fall. I would just like to seek out new friendships and companionship. Life is full of pain, but it is also full of laughter and love. Let's laugh and have fun together. I am a retired, disabled veteran but I am looking to become more active again. I have started exercising again even though it is very painful to me at times. I will no longer allow my injuries to dictate how I live.
I was afraid to write that I have been through two divorces but I now realize that just means I have not found the one who is right for me. Will I ever find that one person? My youth and selfishness ruined the first marriage. Now the second was a different story. I applied everything I learned from the first to include giving up so much believing I was being a supportive husband. But I lost sense of who I was. I will not make that mistake again. If you will not respect the fact that I have friends and that I sometimes bend over backwards to help them, then please stop reading. I believe it to be very important that you ladies need a ladies night out. (That doesn't always mean hitting the clubs.) I respect that you have friends. If I want to coach or participate with an organization, support my wishes as I would yours. If this is not suitable to you, stop reading. I have been around the world several times, so I have friends, both male and female. If you can't accept that, stop reading. I give credit to my parents and the military for molding me, so I know manners, but do not expect to walk on me. If you want to feel safe, be in my arms. If you want to be treated like the center of the universe, just be mine. The ball is in your court.
