I like to give 110% to everything I do, be it work, play, love, or lounge on the sofa. I know what I like, but love trying new things. My passions are traveling, finding natural beauty in new places (example: I'm still completely amazed by the phosphorescents that illuminate your wake when swimming in the ocean at night), food and wine, learning and teaching. I'm blessed to have a great family (most everyone lives in Houston). I'd like to think that I'm intelligent, that I have great taste, that I'm a good judge of character, and have lived enough to know what's important. I'm loyal and honest to a fault.
Of what are my pictures? The first is an old picture of me in Afghanistan sitting atop one of the airplanes that I flew when I was in the Air Force. Then there is a picture of my youngest brother and I when we lived together in Charleston. The rest are recent (August 2010) from my trip to Kenya August with Engineers Without Borders. We put a water line in a hospital (and did a bit of exploring along the way)...definitely an amazing experience. The last one is a picture of me next to the dive boat in Mombasa (not a great dive spot, but my first dive in the Indian Ocean).
The woman for whom I'm looking challenges me to think, brings out the best in me, and lights up every room she enters. She's smart, she' s cute, she's grounded, and she wants kids someday.
