I am putting it out there saying, yes, I am single, yes, I am looking, and yes, I am very happy. However, there is still that piece missing.
I am a proud mother of a 21 year old who is my best friend. We have a great relationship and always have a good time together. Even though my son is older, I welcome kids at any age.
I will start off by saying that I am a very independent woman with no baggage. I own my own home, and have a great career which I love what I do. However, there is still that piece missing. I would like to find that someone to share time with and possibly grow to something more. I find myself to be a bit picky, but it's only because I know what I am looking for…honesty being the first priority! People would most likely describe me as intelligent, energetic, affectionate, loyal, outgoing, generous and someone who leads a healthy lifestyle.
I am on Match because I am not one for the bar scenes, nor am I comfortable meeting someone that way. It never works out anyway. I met my last long term relationship on Match, so I thought I would give it another try.
I come from a large family and I am very close to all of them. My family and I are Italian, so when we all get together, it is always a good time. Meeting someone who is family oriented, is a definite plus.
My profile does say that I have never been married, however, I was married and divorced at a young age, so putting the "divorced" status really didn't fit. I have been in long term relationships, so I am not afraid of commitment. Just chose not to take that extra step quite yet. When I do, I will make sure it is with the right person. I am looking for someone who wants to be with a one person. I am not looking to date someone where I am 1 out of 4 or 5 other women…I don't play that game.
My partner must be kind, affectionate, romantic, intelligent, witty, be able to take care of themselves as far as physical appearance, and most important, have a sense of humor. I am a very easy person to get along with and if you can make me laugh, even better.
I am a person who loves trying new things. I am one who is good and adaptable with change, whether it's going to a new restaurant and trying new foods, or going to places I have never been. I am currently working on my "bucket list" and making the list up as I go. I can be a little daring and adventurous at times, especially if I put my mind to it, or I am convinced. I do not feel that just because you reach a certain age, you have to act or look it. I am at this point in my life where I am living my life to the fullest and I plan on enjoying every part of it.
