If you've ever seen the sitcom Scrubs, I think the character JD and I may have been twins separated at birth. When I'm not laughing, or making others smile, I do what it takes to get the job done.
I'm very close to my parents, and hope to find someone else who shares the same sentiment. I'm not always PC, but that likely comes from the job.
Qualities I look for in a woman include being independent and educated (i.e. correct grammar). At the top of the list would be sense of humor. Wit over sarcasm. Goals are important, and a way to obtain them is a definite sign of a realistic, level-headed person. I enjoy outdoor activities hiking, scuba diving, traveling, camping. If you aren't comfortable sweating, and can't fathom sleeping in a sleeping bag. I'm not an outdoors hippie, but when in the wild going without a shower for a day or two is common.
Although I love the night life of the city I prefer the outdoors and sometimes wish I lived in the mountains. Hopefully my match and I can find a few outdoor or social interests we have in common. Looking for class, culture, and charm.
I tend to work in 7-10 day blocks and then have 10-14 days off. So it makes timing a little difficult. I'd love to meet someone with a flexible schedule, but I'm realistic.
Confession. I'm at the top of the food chain and find animals tasty. You don't have to love steak, but I can't worry about vegetarian friendly restaurants anymore. Same with 'gluten free.'
