I'm currently leaving the military to continue my career in software development. I've deployed five times in the last few years and spent far more time overseas than at home, which has given me a unique perspective on life and the world. I am proud of my service, though I am happy this part of my life is coming to an end. Now it's time to settle down and enjoy life a little. My immediate goals are to get a Master's, then a rewarding job in a private company (though who am I kidding, I'll most likely start working while I am at graduate school). I love the San Diego area and I plan on staying here for the foreseeable future. I like to work out, run, read, and I really enjoy relaxing at a bar while drinking good beer. I balance staying at home with going out, so you can sometimes find me at home watching a TV show or surfing the web for anything entertaining. Weekend activities for me often include hiking, fishing or something outdoors.
Personality wise I guess you could say I like to make people laugh. I can be sarcastic at times, but only to achieve my aim to put a smile on a person's face. It's what I do ...
It would be great to meet someone who shares some of my interests (no kidding, right?). I'm looking for someone who is stable in life and who either has a career going or at least a clear idea of where she wants to be in a few years.
