I am a kind and compassionate person who is very driven and ambitious. I have a career that I love managing a very large Intensive care unit in the city. I live in the suburbs in order to have the best of both worlds. I am originally from a very small town in Vermont where most of my family still lives. I have lived in NJ for five years now and am proud to say I still have my small town values. My friends and family are most important to me. I am lucky enough to still have one set of grandparents living who have been instrumental in my upbringing and the person I am today. I have a very busy schedule and a lot of work related responsibility, but I make time for the people in my life who are important to me. I have traditional family based values and also understand that the best laid plans do not always turn out as we had expected. Life is a journey and perhaps the most important lesson I have learned is that I'm not responsible for other people's choices, only my own. There is nothing in my past that I would change because every experience has provided valuable lessons making me who I am today. I am the person who always has a positive outlook and a smile on my face. I am not afraid to admit when I am wrong or fight for what is right although I would much rather compromise than fight. I go to the gym regularly, although I have a strong dislike for cardio and enjoy the challenge of strength training.
