I am a girl who values my relationships. I find family and friends to be great treasures that I hold close. I love spending time with people and finding new adventures. Giants' games, grabbing a drink, watching a movie, reading a book, or jumping in the car to take a road trip are all the kinds of things that bring me joy.
I love my job on most days. If my students are smiling, then I'm smiling. Some of the moments I value most are those that happen in my classroom. The grading, planning, and conferences may bog me down at times, but all is forgotten when a student looks at me and says, "thank you".
I would love to find someone with a zest for life who enjoys spending time doing the mundane things, but also loves to travel around and have a night out on the town! I find that I have just as much fun relaxing at home in sweats, a glass of wine, and a board game as I do getting all dolled up and going out.
I'm looking for someone that works hard and is driven. I'd love to have a family someday, so I'm going to need to find someone who wants that as well. I'm really close with my family and would like to find someone that comes from that same familial closeness or can, at the very least, understand and embrace mine. Humor is extremely important; I want to be able to laugh with you and laugh at you on certain occasions! I'm very dedicated to my job, but being a teacher is not an ideal way of meeting people.
