My role on a fast paced trading desk presents daily obstacles I relish tackling. While I enjoy what I do I have not lost perspective and maintain a healthy work/life balance.
Working in a profession grounded in logic and reason I nourish the right side of my brain by staying abreast of trends in art, design and men's fashion. I'm fortunate enough to be involved in SFMoMA's volunteer tour guide program so if you want a private tour I'm your man :-)
Continuing my education and expanding my knowledge base is a driving force in my life. I'm not naive enough to think I will ever know it all but I won't stop from trying!!
A desire to gain a better understanding of the world around me has led me to travel extensively domestically and internationally. I lived in the London long enough to pick up a liking for futebol but am also into the American version (Go Bears!).
Eating out is a passion so whether in San Francisco or traveling I'm actively seeking out new restaurants and/or cuisines. My perfect dining experience, be it at a hole in wall ethnic place or three Michelin star culinary temple, pairs good company with food that is authentic, innovative and soulful. I enjoy staying current of San Francisco's gastronomic scene, I'd love to recommend a restaurant or two!!
Athletic and adventurous enough to pick up new sports quickly I enjoy staying in shape. Swimming is my main form of exercise, I enjoyed the physical challenge the Escape from Alcatraz swim offered. Wakeboarding is the most recent activity I have undertaken, I'm already counting the days until I can get back out on the water!!
Intelligent, humorous and quick-witted, I am looking to be challenged so be prepared for some spirited exchanges just beware my playfully sarcastic ripostes. Don't worry, I'm never mean-spirited and I often poke fun at myself for a laugh.
Regardless of the situation I'm unable to resist the urge to shake a leg when I hear a catchy beat. I'd characterize my dance floor style as a Michael Jackson/Conan O'Brien hybrid. While I won't be sure if you laughing with me or at me I can guarantee that you will have a smile on your face all night!!
I value the loyalty, love and generosity my friends and family provide. More importantly they have character and treat others with respect regardless if there is anything to be gained, I'm looking for someone who shares these qualities.
