I'm originally from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. I was born and raised there, and attended college at Penn State University. I moved to Florida about 8 years ago to take my first teaching job. I now teach the third grade at a school in Broward County. I just recently finished my Master's Degree and plan to eventually enroll in a Doctoral program with the hope of eventually working in a research or university setting.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing sports, and enjoying the outdoors. I'm also interested in politics, culture, art, and music. I enjoy conversations and experiences that are intellectually stimulating, and people that can participate in those conversations and challenge me mentally. Of course, I also enjoy just hanging out with good friends and family as well.
I am interested in finding someone who is also interested in having a family (maybe not right away, but at least at some point), who values education as much as I do and enjoys intellectual pursuits, who is interested in exploring the world and traveling, who enjoys volunteering and helping others, and who is able to enjoy life no matter the setting or situation.
