The best way to describe myself would be versatile. I have days when I'm a "guy's girl" at heart -- most content snuggled up on the couch, watching football or hockey (my personal favorites), yelling at the ref & knowing why it was a bad call, while drinking an ice cold beer. And then there are days when I prefer to be a "girly girl" -- letting my hair down, picking out the perfect little black dress that I know you'll love, craving a sushi dinner, and leaping tall buildings in a single bound in my 3" heels. I have daring days when I want to get up early, grab my skis, and search for fresh powder, and days when I want nothing more than to sleep in or, better yet, cuddle up by the fire with a bottle of wine and the fixins' for s'mores. I enjoy trying new things, traveling to new places (the next stamp in my passport will be to Norway to visit an old friend), and always, always, always... finding the humor in life (even if it's at a funeral -- ask me about that later). I also love to write, recently learned how to play ice hockey, could knit you a pair of socks (I just can't promise they'll match), have a passion for tv & film, adore animals (especially dogs), bake a mean chocolate chip cookie, and almost always welcome an inappropriate joke. I used to live in California. I moved back home to attend grad school at CMU and decided I liked being closer to my family. Coming home was a good decision, as I really enjoy my life and having my family nearby only makes it sweeter. I'm on here because I'm looking for someone who not only wants to share the adventures he likes to take with me, but who also wants to be the guy for whom I can wear my little black dress and then snuggle up with by the fire while we watch a game (beer or wine is your call).
