Sooo, I'm a straight woman who runs an LGBT rights start-up. Which means if you're not pretty secure with your sexuality, I'm probably not right for you... but then again, probably neither is San Francisco. But if you like things like social justice and human rights and entrepreneurship, let's talk!
I'm originally from the South Bay, and just moved back for the first time since high school. I've spent most of that time in Boston, Kenya, India and Nicaragua working in international development and social enterprise. I just finished my MBA in North Carolina and finally convinced myself to stay in the states for a while, and couldn't think of a better place to do that than San Francisco.
A non-comprehensive list of things that entertain me, and that I'm looking to share with a partner, includes: traveling to remote and underdeveloped destinations (preferably on the US state department watch list), pretending to be a runner, skiing, scuba diving, motorcycles, baseball, innovation, business models that enable economic development, country music, singing in the car, pet dogs including but not limited to the one I procured in Kenya, embarrassing dance moves, inappropriate jokes, comedies slightly below my maturity level, creative procrastination, good food, good beer, and good people.
