It's tempting to just write "Looking to meet a great guy that I can grow old with".....but I guess I have to write a bit more than that.
I enjoy sports, hiking, travel, movies, brunch on Sundays, working out, biking, travel, exploring NYC, 80's music, puzzles, playing pool, being a new auntie and red wine. I prefer dive bars to clubs/techno stuff. I also love comedy clubs. I am a big sports fan and so excited that football season has arrived!
I'm pretty active - and hope I can find someone who shares this trait. I exercise regularly and like to get up and go on the weekends - but of course it's nice to sleep in sometimes. I'd rather go out and take a walk/run or a bike ride or just wander around the city than sit home and watch TV.
I am ultimately looking for a serious long term relationship and would like to get married again. Although I love NYC, I am not tied to living here forever (in case my location is an issue).
Some important things I look for in a partner are: confidence, maturity, kindness, loyalty, good manners and a sense of humor. I want someone who will stand up for what they believe in, but also will be open and accepting of the fact that someone else may have a different point of view. I truly believe that the ability to have a stimulating conversation with someone is one of the best things when it comes to finding someone to share your life with.
I'm pretty easy going, so I'm looking to meet someone who can have fun no matter what we're doing. I love people with a sarcastic sense of humor. One of my favorite movies is "The Jerk"....which may give you some insight to my humor.
Dating feels like such a game sometimes....but it still just comes down to meeting someone that you enjoy spending time with, can laugh your ass of with, and gives you butterflies.....all at the same time. I want my love to be the first person I think of in the morning...and the last person before I fall asleep at night. I can have fun doing just about anything...as long as I'm in good company.
