I'm an outgoing, compassionate, honest, and trustworthy guy. I am career-driven and I find meaning in the work I do but I don't let that define me. I derive as much (if not more) satisfaction from making others feel good/happy than from achieving my own goals. Looking for someone easy-going who aims to improve our community and who is emotionally open and caring. In my spare time I enjoy playing sports, writing, and drawing/sketching. I also like to make the most of what NYC has to offer; Yankees/Knicks/Rangers games; cool restaurants and bars; the Metropolitan Opera; finding a place to sit/walk and people-watch or just absorb the cultural diversity we're lucky enough to see every day. I was born and raised in Manhattan (Tribeca) until I moved to rural NJ (horse country) with my family at 13. I currently live in Hoboken, NJ and work as a government attorney in lower Manhattan near the World Trade Center. Majored in philosophy in undergrad and went to law school In NJ. I'm a firm supporter of introspection and being aware of my flaws so that I can address them and better myself every day; in turn, I embrace the flaws of others as a part of life, or "the good stuff" as Robin Williams would say in Good Will Hunting...In a relationship, I believe that two people getting to know the sides of one another that each person may not like about himself or herself---and truly accepting these things---is the strongest way to build something that can make your lives the happiest. Mutual interests and great conversations can be the easy part when you like each other...trusting someone to really know you and take you for who you are can be more of a leap, but gives you a strength of spirit that can help you become the best people you can be (both individually and for each other).
