A few random thoughts about me (because the last time I did this it sucked):
I am comfortable being by myself, but would rather be with the right person.
I love a good book, movie, play, or concert. My tastes are all over the place. I love poppy fiction (like the Spenser series, Clive Cussler books, or James Patterson-even though they are all pretty much the same or I can go the other way and read Steinbeck, Hemmingway, Sinclair, or Proust.) My favorite places to read are at the beach or underneath a tree. Love movies. From heavy films to summer popcorn flicks, I cannot get enough. My favorite play ever is Of Mice and Men. I have seen a ton of bands in concert, but my all time favorite show is Bruce Springsteen at PNC Park.
I love the idea of competition. I have been involved in sports my whole life, and that continues to this day. I run A LOT and coach academic and athletic teams. I hate losing more than I like winning.
I am a teacher and I take it very seriously. If I slack off or pop in a movie, then I have cheated my students out of learning.
I am a HUGE Steeler, Pirate, Pen, and WVU fan. I do not remember the last Mountaineer game I missed. And if I could be given a choice of WVU winning a national championship and the Steelers winning the Super Bowl, the Rooney's should make plans to buy a seventh ring.
Some other random bits of into: huge fan of the Improv, Bravo, Burgh Pizza and Wings, Juniper Grill, Bartrum House Bakery, Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, Going to the Scratch and Dent section to try and find new appliances, taking a few hacks at the batting cage, Chipotle, Sam's Club (but not Wal Mart), New Orleans, DC (especially during the Cherry Blossom Festival), good grammar and spelling, and 80's music.
What I do not like: country music (not even a little), Wal Mart (confusing I know), people who are rude to waiters and bartenders, golf, NASCAR, dishonesty, arrogance, texting lingo becoming an acceptable way to talk and (GASP) being used in academic papers, and fast food.
Anythiing else you want to know, do not hesitate.
